Lukas Birthday Party

Lukas has turned 6! He actually turned 6 on the 14th, but his party was on the 16th.

Here are some pictures from the party. We had beautiful weather and it was nice to be able to be outside for most of it. Thank you all for coming and helping Chris and I to make Lukas' day special. Lukas had a wonderful time, he loves all of his friends and hopes you all had a good time too!

Happy Valentine's Day !!!

Well, it's a day late, but the sentiment is still heart felt...I hope you all had a nice Valentine's Day! As most of you know, it is Lukas' birthday on February 14th, so we tend to focus on that instead of the Hallmark man made holiday...but Chris surprised me and took the day/night off, so we did end up going out for lunch just us two and had a nice time!

School days...

My Health

Well, many of you have been praying, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Here's the latest...I started seeing a Chiropractor on Monday February 4th...I go 3 times a week, and will have my re-evaluation in about 2 months. So far the numbness is the same, though not as often, praise the Lord! I have hopes that this will help me in the long run, and it seems that I will have to walk this journey slow and steady, but with my wonderful husband, loving helpful kids, and my wonderful friends (I HAVE THE BEST ONES), this journey is far from lonely. Thanks again for your faithfulness in praying for me and my family during this trial! I've enjoyed the phone calls, e-mails and letters, they have been very encouraging to me and my family!

On a happier note, as many of you know and have seen, my hair is gone!!! I was able to donate 12" (a foot) of hair, and wow is it ever short! I LOVE IT!!! I will post pictures soon. We have all been sick with either the flu or cold here at the Hoglo Home so there have been NO photo opportunities, but we are on the mend and hope to get some pictures soon!

Wyatt & Lukas had a wonderful time ice skating for the very 1st time. Even after all the goose eggs and bruises, they can't wait to go back.
